Refund Policy

Straight answers, no fine print. Course bundle has a 30-day / <50% refund window. Dashboard membership has no refund but you can cancel in one click, any time. The full text is below.

1. Quick Summary

  • Course bundle ($1,997, one-time): 30-day refund window. You must request within 30 days of purchase AND have completed less than 50% of the course content. Both conditions required.
  • Dashboard membership ($97/month): No refunds. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. You stop being charged at the end of the billing period you already paid for. No exceptions.
  • How to request a course refund: email support@mypracticeacademy.com with “Refund” in the subject line.

2. Course Bundle — 30-Day / <50% Refund

You have 30 calendar days from the date of your course purchase to request a refund, provided you have completed less than 50% of the course content (lesson progress is tracked automatically in your dashboard).

Both conditions are required— the 30-day window and the <50% completion threshold. A request received on day 31 is not eligible. A request on day 15 from an account showing 60% course completion is not eligible. This is explicit so nobody is surprised.

  1. Email support@mypracticeacademy.com with the subject “Refund” and the email address on your MPA account.
  2. We verify both conditions (date of purchase + course completion percentage) and confirm eligibility within 2 business days.
  3. Eligible refunds are issued to the original payment method. Stripe takes an additional 5–10 business days to post the refund to your card or bank.

Once a refund is issued, your course access is revoked. You cannot re-purchase the course bundle at the same introductory price once refunded.

3. Dashboard Membership — No Refunds, Cancel Anytime

The dashboard membership is a recurring $97/month subscription. This tier does not qualify for refunds — not pro-rated, not partial, not retroactive. What it does offer is simple: cancel any time, with no questions asked and no retention friction.

  • Cancel from Settings → Billing in one click, or email us. Either method stops future charges.
  • You keep full dashboard access through the end of the current billing period you already paid for.
  • We do not refund the current month’s charge on cancellation. If you cancel on day 20 of a 30-day period, you keep access through the remaining 10 days and are not charged again.
  • Past months of membership are not refundable under any circumstance — billing error exceptions below.
  • Your purchased courses remain yours permanently regardless of membership status.

Billing errors are separate from refund policy. If you were charged in error (duplicate charge, charge after cancellation, wrong amount), email support@mypracticeacademy.com and we will investigate and correct the charge within 5 business days. This is a correction, not a refund.

4. What Is Not Refundable

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

  • Course requests outside the 30-day window, regardless of course completion.
  • Course requests from accounts that have completed 50% or more of the course content, regardless of date.
  • Any dashboard membership charge — past, current, or future. The membership does not carry a refund. Cancellation is the remedy.
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for violation of the Terms of Service (account sharing, content redistribution, scraping, abuse).
  • Chargebacks filed with your card issuer in lieu of contacting us first. If you file a chargeback without contacting support, we may revoke access until the dispute is resolved and may decline future service.

5. How to Cancel Membership

Three paths, all equally valid and all stop future charges immediately:

  1. Self-service: sign in, go to Settings → Billing, click “Cancel subscription”. One click, no phone call, no retention offer gauntlet.
  2. Email: send a one-line request to support@mypracticeacademy.com from the email on file.
  3. Pause (Lite): if you want to keep course access without the active dashboard membership, switch to the free Lite tier instead of cancelling outright. Lite keeps your course library; you can reactivate paid membership any time.

We confirm cancellation by email within 1 business day. If you do not receive a confirmation, reply to your original request.

6. Auto-Renewal Disclosure

Your dashboard membership automatically renews each month at $97 until you cancel. You authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on each renewal date. The renewal amount, frequency, and the no-refund / cancel-anytime policy are shown at checkout before you complete the purchase. You can cancel any time using any of the three methods in Section 5 without calling us.

For California residents: the one-click cancel button in Settings → Billingsatisfies California’s Automatic Renewal Law (ARL) click-to-cancel requirement. No call, no chat, no retention step required.
